Toyota Motor Sales has been one of the major sponsors of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation and the largest client of Saatchi & Saatchi in Los Angeles, California. Each year, the foundation hosts a gala dinner to congratulate the honorees and advertises the event through the agency to which I was assigned for directing the art deliverable with a copywriter. For the 2009 event, the creative blueprint specified a single-page black-and-white layout indicating the honorees and awards. The print ad reflected a certificate celebrating the event.
